The best time to steam is when your scalp is clean. If your hair is healthy, you can steam it once a month, but if your hair is very dry, you can steam it every 7-10 days.

For short hair steam up to 5 minutes. For medium to longer hair steam up to 12 minutes.

Use only distilled water in the steamer to reduce maintenance needs.
